"LIVING IN A MOVIE"

As a student living in the Florentin neighborhood of Tel Aviv,
I envisioned a cinema-based community hub, made of five distinct geometric buildings,
blending film, culture, residence, and daily life.

 The upper floors serve as student housing — fully integrated into the architectural and visitor experience.
Students can work in the center in exchange for subsidized rent, and even showcase and sell their creative work on site.

Bridges link the buildings into one continuous journey — connecting cinema halls, studios, shops, and student spaces.
The design also features two open balconies overlooking the city, with bars and chill-out areas
where visitors and residents naturally meet.

A cinematic space, built for real life.

כסטודנטית שגרה בשכונת פלורנטין,
בחרתי לעצב מרכז קולנוע קהילתי שמורכב מחמישה מבנים גאומטריים נפרדים,
המשלבים יחד קולנוע, תרבות, מגורים וחיים אורבניים.

 הקומות העליונות משמשות למגורי סטודנטים – חלק בלתי נפרד מהמבנה ומהחוויה האורבנית.
המרכז מציע לסטודנטים עבודה במקום בתמורה לדיור מסובסד,
ומאפשר להם להציג ולמכור יצירות אישיות.

החיבורים בין המבנים נעשים דרך גשרים מעוצבים, היוצרים מסלול חווייתי סביב האולמות,
החנויות, אזורי המגורים והעבודה.

שני מרפסות גדולות פונות לרחוב הראשי, ובהן בר פתוח ופינות ישיבה,
שמזמינות מפגש יומיומי בין מבקרים לדיירים.

מרחב קולנועי שנבנה עבור החיים עצמם.
